Core Concepts
Point
A single location in 3D space described by three coordinates (x, y, z). Points anchor curves, mark positions, and feed almost every construction node.
Vector
A direction and a length (magnitude) without a fixed location. Vectors drive moves, extrudes, and rotations and combine via add, cross, and dot.
Plane
A 2D reference frame with an origin and orientation. Use planes to construct geometry on arbitrary surfaces and orient tools along custom axes.
Points
Create, deconstruct, measure, and sort points in 3D space.
Construct Point
Behavior
Constructs a point from {x, y, z} coordinates. Each axis value is provided as a separate number input. Default: X 0, Y 0, Z 0. Outputs a single Point. Accepts lists on any input - when list inputs are provided, produces one point per element using the active list matching mode. The most common starting node for defining positions in a model.

Vector Construction
Build vectors from axis components, coordinates, or pairs of points. These define directions and magnitudes used by transformation and construction nodes.
VectorX
Behavior
Returns a vector directed along the X axis (OX), with magnitude equal to the input value. The quickest way to create a horizontal direction vector. Input 10 → Vector {10, 0, 0}. Input -5 → Vector {-5, 0, 0} (reversed direction). Commonly wired into Move, Linear Array, or Extrude Curve to define X-direction operations. VectorY and VectorZ work identically for their respective axes.

Vector By 2Pnt
Behavior
Creates a vector from the base point to the tip point. The third input optionally normalizes the result to unit length. Default: Point 1 {5,5,0}, Point 2 {10,10,0}. Outputs both the Vector and its Length. When the Boolean (unitize) input is true, the output vector is normalized to magnitude 1 while preserving direction. The Length output always returns the original (pre-normalization) distance between the points.

Cross Product
Behavior
Returns the cross product of two vectors - a new vector perpendicular to both inputs. The result's magnitude equals the area of the parallelogram formed by the two input vectors. The direction follows the right-hand rule: curl fingers from A toward B, and the thumb points in the cross product direction. Swapping A and B reverses the output direction. If A and B are parallel, the cross product is a zero vector. Commonly used to find surface normals from two tangent directions.

Dot Product
Behavior
Returns the dot product (scalar product) of two vectors - a single number indicating how aligned they are. Dot product = 0 when vectors are perpendicular, positive when pointing in similar directions, negative when opposing. For unit vectors, the result equals the cosine of the angle between them. Commonly used to test parallelism, perpendicularity, or project one vector onto another.

Construct Plane
Behavior
Constructs a plane from an origin point and two directional vectors defining the X and Y axes. Default: Origin {0,0,0}. X and Y directions required. The Z axis (normal) is computed automatically as the cross product of X and Y. If X and Y are not perpendicular, the plane is still valid but the coordinate system will be non-orthogonal.
