What's New in v2.1.19

Released on October 20, 2026

Breaking changes

  • The previous input, UI, sketch, and constant nodes were removed: Boolean, Color Picker, Curve Editor, Font, Graph Mapper, Image Input, Material, Math Expression, Number Const, Object 3d, Range Input, Rich Text Editor, Select, Select with Thumbnail, Sketches, Text Area Input, Text Input, Texture, UV Mapping, and Vector Graphics Input. Existing graphs using these nodes will need to be rebuilt.

New

  • Added a large set of modelling nodes across solids, surfaces, curves, vectors, arrays, panels, analysis, intersections, Boolean operations, text, triangulation, transforms, and rendering.
  • Added common primitives and tools such as Box, Cylinder, Sphere, Torus, Arc, Circle, Line, Rectangle, NURBS Curve, Extrude Curve, Loft Surface, Sweep, Revolve Surface, Pipe, Fillet Geometry, Chamfer Geometry, Move, Rotate, Scale, Mirror, Orient, and Render.

Overview

Tool

Tool is a comprehensive modeling toolkit for BeeGraphy, built on OpenCascade. It covers everything from primitive curve and vector construction to advanced surfacing, Boolean operations, paneling, and analysis, giving designers a flexible set of building blocks for parametric 3D models.

Main Node Groups

Primitive Curves and Vector

Start any definition with precise geometry. Line, Circle, Arc, Rectangle, Polyline, and Interpolate create base curves, while Helix and NURBS Curve handle more specialized paths. The Vector group complements these with Construct Point, Vector XYZ, Plane By 3Pnt, and many point–vector helpers, so you can define coordinate systems, directions, and references for downstream operations.

Surface and Solid

Turn curves into 3D forms. Extrude Curve, Revolve Surface, Loft Surface, Sweep2, and Pipe Variable generate surfaces directly from profiles and rails; Surface From Points and Surface By Edges build freeform NURBS surfaces from grids or boundary curves. On the solid side, Box, Cylinder, Sphere, Torus, Cone, Pyramid, and Extrude Surface create watertight solids, while Loft Solid and Offset Solid modify them.

Transform and Array

Position, orient, and repeat geometry. Move, Rotate, Scale, Mirror, and Shear apply basic transformations; Orient, Auto Orient, and Orient Direction remap geometry between planes or guide vectors. The Array group distributes objects with Linear Array, Polar Array, Curve Array, Rectangular Grid, and Hexagonal Grid, while Populate 2D and Populate 3D scatter points for generative patterns.

Boolean Operation and Intersection

Combine or cut shapes with Solid Union, Solid Difference, Solid Intersection, and their surface/region counterparts. Glue variants (Solid Glue, Surface Glue, Region Glue) provide faster assembly for touching, non-penetrating parts. The Intersection group finds precise contact events with Intersect 2 Curve, Intersect Surfaces, Solid | Curve, and Plane | Plane.

Analysis, Toolset, and Panels

Inspect and prepare geometry. Curve Length, Evaluate Curve, Surface Area, Evaluate Surface, Bounding Box, Centroid, and Solid Volume return measurements. Divide By Count, Offset Curve, Join, Rebuild Curve, Project Curve, and Fillet Geometry clean up or modify curves. The Panels group converts surfaces into patterned facades with Quad Panel, Triangle Panel A, Diamond Panel, or Hexagonal Panel.

Example Graphs

Parametric twisted column

  1. Polygon creates a hexagonal base profile.
  2. Move places it at the column base.
  3. Helix defines a vertical rail around the column axis.
  4. Sweep2 uses the polygon as a section and the helix as a rail to create a twisting surface.
  5. Cap converts the open surface into a solid column.

Voronoi-patterned panel

  1. Rectangle provides a boundary surface.
  2. Populate 2D scatters random points inside the rectangle.
  3. Voronoi 2D generates cell curves from those points.
  4. Region Difference subtracts the Voronoi cells from the rectangle, creating an open lattice.
  5. Surface By Curves turns the trimmed curves into a surface, and Quad Panel optionally adds sub-panels.

Lofted vase with variable pipe handle

  1. Circle creates the bottom opening.
  2. Move and Scale create intermediate sections that widen and narrow the profile.
  3. Loft Surface builds the vase body from the section curves.
  4. Blend Curve creates a smooth handle path along the side.
  5. Pipe Variable sweeps a variable-radius tube along the handle rail and joins it to the vase with Solid Union.
