Creation Method

There are two options for creating the Contour node.

• The first way to create the Contour node is by using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
  • cont
• The second way is to select the Contour node from the menu that opens from the top left.
  • Menu > Tool > Analysis > Contour

Steps

• Create the Contour node.
• Connect the surface or solid geometry you want to contour to the first port labeled Shape.
• Connect the base plane for contours to the second port labeled Plane. By default, this is set to the XY plane.
• Connect the distance between contours to the third port labeled Distance. By default, this value is 1.

After creating the node, connect the geometry you want to contour to the first port. Connect the base plane for contours to the second port. Optionally, adjust the distance between contours by connecting a value to the third port. The output port will provide the resulting contour curves.
