This plugin provides additional service nodes that allow designers not only to calculate material-based services, but also to store key parameters of the finished product. These parameters can later be used by manufacturers to account for additional services that the designer could not or did not consider in advance. By naming and configuring these nodes appropriately, designers can highlight important parameters, enabling businesses to apply pricing or service logic directly to them.

Area-based Service (Service)Count-based Service (Service)Length-based Service (Service)Time-based Service (Service)Volume-based Service (Service)Weight-based Service (Service)This plugin adds service nodes for attaching business logic to your parametric models. Instead of only deriving geometry and material costs, you can explicitly store key parameters of the finished product—such as its counted items, total length, area, volume, weight, or expected production time. Manufacturers and businesses can then apply pricing or service logic directly to these named parameters, including those a designer may not have considered in advance.
The Service group contains nodes that calculate and expose a single measurable aspect of a model. Each node outputs a value that can be named and configured to highlight an important parameter of your design.
Count-based Service – use when cost or service depends on the number of items, components, or repeated elements in a model.Length-based Service – use for pricing or processing based on total running length, such as profiles, extrusions, or cut lengths.Area-based Service – use when a service is driven by surface area, for example sheet material finishing, painting, or coating.Volume-based Service – use for services related to material volume, such as casting, filling, or bulk material consumption.Weight-based Service – use when pricing depends on mass, which often reflects material usage and shipping cost.Time-based Service – use when a service is tied to production, machining, or labour time rather than a geometric measurement.Highlight the number of identical fasteners in an assembly by connecting a Count-based Service node to the geometry that generates the fasteners. Name the service output Fastener count; a manufacturer can use this to add a per-unit handling cost without measuring the model manually.
Combine a Volume-based Service node with a solid model to expose its volume, then name the output Casting volume. A supplier can use this parameter to calculate material usage for casting or moulding services directly from your published graph.
Use a Length-based Service node on a path that represents a gasket or linear profile. Rename the output to Seal length so that a downstream pricing service can apply a per-metre cost to the final product.
