Creation method

There are two options for creating an Extend Curve node.

• The first way to create an Extend Curve node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
  • extend
• The second way is to select an Extend Curve node from the menu that opens from the top left.
  • Menu > Tool > Toolset > Extend Curve

Steps

• Create an Extend Curve node.
• Connect the curve you want to extend to the first port.
• Connect the type of extension method (0 = Line, 1 = Arc) to the second port.
• Set the start extension length (distance to extend from start).
• Set the end extension length (distance to extend from end).
• The output port will provide the resulting extended curve.

After creating a node, connect the curve to extend to the first port, the extension type (0 = Line, 1 = Arc, 2 = Smooth) to the second port, the start extension length to the third port, and the end extension length to the fourth port. On the output port, you will get the resulting extended curve.
